Bisi and Dele Odule were working on Sanyeri’s Movie set when they had a little issue and Bisi Apoligised to Dele by kneeling down and Everyone thought it was all over, until the following morning when Bisi walked past and didn't greet Dele. Dele called her back and put her Attention to the fact that she didn't greet him and Despite Bisi’s Apologies that it was an Oversight, Dele went on and on Abusing Bisi and in the process Referred to the fact that even his Boss Yinka Quadri was not Educated like he.

Popular fuji singer, Abass Akande, a.k.a Obesere says his mother saved his life from going down the wrong path, due to his romance with Indian hemp.
In an episode of the ongoing Supermom reality show, which featured him and his mother, Taibat Omobonike Akande, Obesere said his love for music and peer pressure got him entangled in the web of Indian hemp at a very early age. ‘I was very young when I started taking Indian hemp but it wasn’t good for my system because anytime I took it, I would just sleep off for about five to six hours. Of course, it became very worrisome for my mother who went everywhere and did everything in order for me to stop but she never gave up on me.’

Beautiful Nollywood actress, Dakore Akande best known as Dakore Egbuson has made a return into the acting world after a long absence. Since after her marriage to her hubby, Olumide in January 2011, Dakore has not featured in movies as she used to do.

Shortly after her marriage, it was speculated that the sexy make-believe queen would quit acting. This was further believed by some when she was not seen in movies afterwards.

From information we are getting now, Dakore would feature in a movie titled 'Journey To Self'. As we learnt, Dakore will act alongside Nse Ikpe Etim, Catherine Edoho, Kalu Ikeagwu, Femi Jacobs and others.

As Nigeria participates in the 2012 Olympic Games, which started on Saturday, July 27, 2012, with elaborate pomp and pageantry, we bring to you the full list of Team Nigeria.
The Team, with a total of 116 members, comprises 55 athletes, 12 coaches, 29 administrators officers, 9 medical officials, 5 contingent officials and 6 secretariat officials.
Nigeria will be featuring in 8 games, namely basketball, table tennis, athletics, weightlifting, canoe slalom, boxing, wrestling and taekwondo.

Elena Pirozhkova, the 5-foot-5 wrestler, picked up the 5-foot-11 first lady.

"I hugged her, and then I asked her if I could pick her up. I think she was nervous. I went slow. I just picked her up. I wanted to ask her permission. There was security all around. And she gave it. I will only meet her once. I wanted to do something different.''

Award winning media personality, Funmilola Iyanda is strolling gently, quietly, into the elders’ club.
The talk show host-turned documentary maker clocked 41 on Friday, July 27, 2012 and has since been receiving congratulatory messages from fans and friends. One of such is popular VJ, Denrele Edun who congratulated her via micro blogging site, Twitter, ’I mst b stark ravin MAD! Funmi, who graduated with a BSc degree in Geography from the University of Ibadan, started her media practice with the production of Good Morning Nigeria show which was followed by New Dawn in 2000. Shortly after, Funmi started Talk with Funmi, directed by Chris Dada. The new show toured several states sampling opinions of Nigerians on events and happenings.
She is also a renowned journalist and filmmaker, with her recent documentary Chopcassava.com which was inspired by the Subsidy era, nominated for the BANFF award in Canada.
She was recently named by Forbes as one of the 20 youngest powerful women in Africa

Subsidy payment: NUPENG calls off strike



NIGERIA Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, has suspended it nationwide strike called in solidarity with independent petroleum products marketers over unpaid subsidy claims among others.
The suspension was sequel to a decision reached by stakeholders at a meeting convened by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity, and attended by officials of the the Ministry of Finance, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Petroleum Products Pricing and Regulatory Agency, PPPRA, Jetties and Petroleum Tank Farm Owners Association, JEPTFON, and NUPEN, in Abuja, on Friday night.
NUPENG had on Friday began the indefinite strike over the payment of 2012 petroleum subsidy arrears, the state of the refineries, labour issues concerning SPDC, bad roads in the country, and restructuring of loans of JEPTFON members.
The communique said, “After noting the concerns expressed by the NUPENG and JEPTFON, government affirmed that the payment of petroleum subsidy for 2012 has commenced. The issuance of Sovereign Debt Notes (SDN) for verified and processed batches will be concluded within two weeks.”
