A member of PDP’s Board of Trustee, Sen. Onyabo Obi, says President
Goodluck Jonathan is on track and the party will give him necessary
support to succeed.
Obi who led other members of the board to Jigawa stated this in Dutse.
He told the said that the team was in the state on a solidarity visit
to inspect projects executed by PDP government in the state under the
leadership of Gov. Sule Lamido.
“With what President Jonathan has put in place and with his plans in
various sectors so far in the last 100 days he assumed office, there is
hope for Nigerians.
“PDP as a party will continue to support, guide and ensure that the
President fulfils his promises to the people,” Obi emphasised.
However, he commended Lamido for his achievements on infrastructure and other developmental projects embarked upon in the state.
Obi stated that the governor had adhered to the principle of the party in terms of giving the people dividends of democracy.
NAN reports that former Foreign Affairs Minister, Chief Ojo Madueke,
Sen. Stella Omu and former Governor of Nasarawa , Sen. Adamu Abdullahi
were among the people that visited the state. (NAN)
