Nigeria's
biggest whistle blowing news agency was temporarily offline yesterday
due to what some people tagged as cyber attack. The management of the
website issued a statement thereafter confirming the news that
saharareporters had been under severe cyber attacks. No one claimed
responsibility for the attack.
However, the site is now back online with latest news on corruption in Nigeria.
Founded by human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, Saharareporters.com report stories on the vast corruption and mismanagement in government.
This is not the first time that the website would come under
attack, obviously masterminded by those who consider the website too
'ferocious' in it reports.
