Mr Philip Michael, a driver has been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment with hard labour for defiling his 12 year old daughter which resulted in pregnancy. The family social services unit of the Lagos State Ministry Of Youth And Social Development heard of the abuse and arrested him.
During the interrogation the victim Miss Happiness Michael, it became apparent that he forcefully took her away from her biological mother and, he had sex with her on several occasions. Her pregnancy was detected by her school teacher.
