The State Resident Electoral Commissioner of INEC, Malam Kassim Gaidam, disclosed this in Yola on Thursday. According to him, non-sensitive election materials were already in place.
“Ahead of  the Jan.14, 2012 governorship election in the state,  not less than  11,000 ad hoc staff  have been recruited and trained by the commission and all necessary non-sensitive voting materials are in place.”
Gaidam appealed to the five political parties participating in the election to adhere to the rules and regulations, especially during campaign rallies.
He however, assured the people of the commission’s readiness to conduct free and transparent election in the state. NAN
