Funmi Iyanda Returns From Mount Kilimanjaro

Funmi Iyanda joined 32 other Africans to climb Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, as part of an advocacy effort for women’s right on March 5. The project was organized by the Africa UNiTE campaign group as part of a crusade to end violence against women and girls.

The journey ended on Saturday, March 10th and from her tweets, it was extremely hectic. She said she almost died. Big kudos to her for even agreeing to go on this climb...for representing Nigeria. Read her tweets below...
