The Lagos State Police Command has appointed its first female Public Relations Officer.
Ngozi Braide, a deputy superintendent of police, is the 16th PPRO of the state since the office was created in 1971.
She had served as PRO in various commands, including the Special Fraud Unit, Force Headquarters Annex Milverton, where she was recently transferred as Sectional Head of Oil and Gas Fraud Section.
Braide also served with International Criminal Police Organisation between 1999 and 2003. In INTERPOL, Braide was attached to the Organised Crime Division.
