The
Power Holding Company of Nigeria on Tuesday said it had started
restoring electricity to Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos, where a Dana Air
plane on a scheduled flight from Abuja to Lagos crashed into some
buildings and destroyed some of the utility’s facilities on June 3,
2012.
The management of PHCN in Abule-Egba Business Unit said it had deployed personnel and materials to the affected area.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the area has been without electricity since the plane crash.
PHCN Business Manager in the area, Mr. Gabriel Ezeokoli, told NAN in that they were working earnestly to restore electricity to the area.
