Pastor Adeboye advises Nigerians to seek God

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), on Monday, advised Nigerians to live lives of holiness and total obedience, in order to attract God’s intervention in solving the nation’s problems.
Adeboye made this known at the 60th annual convention of the church held at Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The week-long event, which began on Monday, is themed “Coming up Higher.”
The G.O. stated that God is calling on all Nigerians to “come up higher through the highways of holiness, increased faith and purity to overcome the country’s numerous challenges.”
Adeboye explained that Nigeria and its citizens could attain higher positions and live above fear, failures and problems if they stopped their sinful acts.
“Genuine peace and true progress come to nations who put their trust in God. There is a place specially prepared for those who yield to the invitation to come up higher,” he said.
