Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand has offered a hand of invitation to Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt to come be a part of the team.
The duo engaged in a discussion on the micro blogging site, Twitter during which Ferdinand informed Bolt of his readiness to make him a part of the Alex Ferguson led team.
‘if you want that trial at Man Utd shout me, I’ll speak to the boss!! Well done in 100m, waiting for you to smash the 200 m now’ @rioferdy5 tweeted and in response, Bolt wrote ‘after the olympics, we will work on that…lol…thanks man’.
It will be recalled that Bolt had earlier showed interest in the team and had gone for a rehearsal but was dropped for his inability to control the ball as well as his status as a record-smashing sprinter.
Bolt is currently the fastest sprinter in the world and led two other nationals to win the 100m finals at the just concluded Olympics game in London.
