Celebration of Life...3 months' on

Obafemi Janet Oluwafunmilayo Nee Ayodele(1956 - 2012)

It is difficult to say goodbye, or do I say it is difficult saying goodbye because it is still like a dream, as if 'everything' is gonna come back to normal as usual. Many atimes I just feel as like some magic can happen so that we can have a little 'tete a tete' discussion even if it is for one more time and then....well, 'If wishes were horses, beggars would ride', so they say. Trying to figure out why this happened at this time or not is like questioning God's sovereignty, because He has a reason for allowing it happen the way it did. He does things the way He likes that no man can question.

Ecclesiastes chapter 3 vs 1 & 2 says 'to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven'. A time to be born and a time to die....apparently death is inevitable but as mortals we tend to believe that it should follow a 'definite pattern' - the 'natural order'. Yours came at a time we least expected, very very sudden.
Mummy, even after three months we still find if hard to come to terms with the reality that keeps dawning on us each passing day. We take solace in the fact that death is just a phase that everyone must pass through but not 'the end', you have fought the good fight of faith and gone to rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Till we meet again, till we meet again,
Till we meet at Jesus' feet
Till we meet again, till we meet again,
God be with you till we meet again.

Continue to rest in peace ma, God be with you till we meet to part no more.

Signed: Your beloved children
