Comedy merchant, Julius ‘The Genius’ Agwu is set to release an auto-biography which will be unveiled on his 40th birthday on April 7, 2013.
The actor, musician and entrepreneur who is unarguably one of the best entertainers in Nigeria clocks 40 in a matter of days and has decided to celebrate it in a big way by launching his auto-biography in an event that will gather most of his friends, family, colleagues and admirers.
Hailing from Choba in Obio /Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Julius was born on April 7th, 1973 to Chief Augustine Amadi Agwu and Mrs. Mary Agwu. With over a decade’s stint in the entertainment industry, Julius has successfully harnessed his skills as an entertainer extraordinaire. ‘His combined success in the movie industry, music and comedy in Nigeria has not been surpassed by any other person till date, so it is only appropriate for him to capture it in a book’, a source close to the comedian said.
In a telephone chat with NET, the funny man told our reporter of his anticipation to get the book launched. ‘The book will capture the journey that I began over a decade ago…all of the paths that I had to go through to get to where I am today and hopefully someone will learn something from my experience.
Reports have it that the book which is yet to be titled, is being edited by Anthony Kan Onwordi best known as Toni Kan, an award winning poet writer,  editor, PR executive, ideas man and teacher.
