60th Birthday: Oshiomhole Asks Friends To Send Birthday Gifts To Late Wife’s Foundation

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has advised friends and well wishers planning to buy gifts and place congratulatory messages in the media for him in celebration of his birthday to desist from doing so.
Oshiomhole, who turns 60 on Thursday, said the monies meant to procure gifts and place advertorials for him should be directed to the foundation set up in memory of his late wife, Clara Oshiomhole Health Foundation for Maternal and Child Care.
A newspaper advertorial signed by his chief press secretary, Peter Okhiria, said “we are aware that friends, well-wishers, associates and comrades of the comrade governor across the country have concluded plans to buy gifts and place advertorials in the print and electronic media to congratulate him on the landmark birthday.
