WORKS are in top gear to complete the final resting place for the late world renowned evangelist of the World Soul Winning Evangelical Ministry of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Prophet Timothy Obadare, at the WOSEM international Conference Ground, Shiloh, Ileki Area in Ilesa, Osun State.

Builders and other workers, including volunteers from the CAC are working day and night to complete the tomb before the August 17 date when the great evangelist would finally be laid to rest. According to the son of the late preacher, Pastor Abraham Obadare, the only unfulfilled dream of his late father was his inability to take the gospel to some parts of the world before he died. He said the greatest wish of his father was to spread the gospel of Christ to all the nooks and crannies of the world. He said: “My father was a committed follower of Christ and his greatest assignment while on earth was the spread of gospel.
His all time desire was to win more souls to the body of Christ. “The only thing he would have loved to do, but for death, was to work towards ensuring that more souls are won to the kingdom of God. His greatest wish was to always depopulate the kingdom of darkness. “He had wished that more souls were reached by him in various parts of the world. He wanted more souls to be won to the kingdom of God and wished that everybody on earth knew God. This he would have loved to continue but for his death.”

Activities marking the late preacher’s final journey started with a lying-in-state on Thursday August 8 at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. It will continue on Monday, August 12, with a Commendation service at the All CAC Coordinating Council Headquarters, Lagos at 4 pm. Another lying in state will hold on August 15 at Koseunti Prayer Ground opposite Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure in Ondo State at 12 noon. This will be followed by a Christian wake-keep on August 16 at 4pm, and a praise night from 7 pm till dawn at the New WOSEM International Conference Ground Shiloh, Ileki Area, Ilesa. The burial service will hold on August 17 at 10.00 am. It will be followed by the interment at the WOSEM International Conference Ground at Shiloh, Ileki Area of Ilesa.
