Former Ghanaian Big Brother Stargame housemate, Derick Kobina Boney popularly known as DKB has released an apology song for his Sierra Leone’s counterpart Zainab, with whom he had a fight before they were evicted.
The song, Apology, was released on Saturday, June 16, 2012 and features female artiste, Shee_Rap.
This is following the press statement
released on DKB had Thursday, June 7, 2012 in which he apologised for
his action and apologized to Zainab and the whole of Africa for, which
many thought was uncalled for.
According to the managers of the
26-year-old Ghanaian comedian, the song is an embodiment of DKB’s total
and final apology and is also an initiative to address gender violence
and its repercussions, adding that, they hope it would send out a clear
message to avoid violence against men and women in the society.
The duo were disqualified on Monday, June 4, 2012 for engaging in a physical combat which was against the rule of the Big Brother Stargame house.
