Obodo in church, denies being hospitalised

Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo, on Sunday expressed joy over what he described as his miraculous escape from kidnappers.
Obodo, who spoke during a thanksgiving service held at the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Effurun, said contrary to reports, he was not at anytime hospitalised after his ordeal.
The Udinese player who is currently on loan to Lecce in the Italian Seria A, also denied that his family was under threat from the kidnappers who had earlier abducted him.
“It is not true that I was hospitalised after I regained freedom from the kidnappers’’, he said.
He, however, expressed shock over the way he was abducted, but reiterated his earlier resolve not to be intimidated by the action of his abductors.
