While the London 2012 Olympic games is
still on going, some Cameroon athletes have gone missing on Monday,
August, 7th, from the games according to the country’s ministry of
Sports and physical education.
Reports state that the missing company
comprising of 5 boxers, a football player and a swimmer went missing for
no other reason other than economic escape.
Their names were given as Drusille Ngako (female goalkeeper), Paul Ekane Edingue (swimmer), Thomas Essomba, Christian Donfack Adjoufack, Abdon Mewoli, Blaise Yepmou Mendouo and Serge Ambomo (boxers).
However, while the mission head David
Ojong admits the incident, the International Olympic committee,IOC says
it was not aware of the unfortunate occurrence.
