Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole,
Tuesday, re-approached the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court,
begging it to terminate the criminal proceedings initiated against him
by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The former speaker, who was earlier granted bail in the sum of
N5million, is praying the court to quash all the 16-counts criminal
charge preferred against him by the anti-graft agency, for want of
incriminating evidence.
After listening to their arguments yesterday, Justice Okorowo reserved ruling on the matter till December 19.
