Actress Mercy Aigbe has come out to denied the latest news in town that she is expecting her third child. There is nothing unusual or bad about getting pregnant but the actress disclosed that making babies again is not in her calculations for now.
Mercy who is from Benin, Edo State has taken part is several yoruba movies and tv series like Papa Ajasco and Company. The pretty star actress is married to city businessman and hotelier, Lanre Gentry and together they have a son, Lanre (Jnr).
Meanwhile, her latest movie OSAS-Omoge Bini is set to released on the 16th of July, 2012.
The movie features Mercy Aigbe, as well as some other fantastic actors, such as Toyin Aimakhu, Iyabo Ojo, Kayode Akinbayo, Helen Paul, Koffi Idowu (popular comedian), Bayo Bankole (formerly Boy Alinco in Papa Ajasco), Kelvin Ikeduba, and many more. The movie was directed by Muyideen S. Ayinde.
The movie tells the story of a colorful and eccentric Bini girl who gains admission into the University of Lagos. Though she is intelligent, she is not very exposed. Despite her eccentricity, she manages to become firm friends with a girl from a rich family. However, trouble rears its ugly head, when they both fall in love with the same guy. Mercy has said that the movie will hit Nigerian cinemas in November, and will also be taken to University of Lagos, University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Port Harcourt, and University of Benin. Mercy also said the movie will be taken to the UK, US, Dublin and Italy.
The movie was shot in Benin, Delta, and Lagos. According to Mercy, she had never really seen herself as going into the comedy genre, but she got inspired to explore it, after her appearance on Papa Ajasco, a comedy TV show, which got a warm reception.
