Fabrice Muamba, the Bolton
midfielder who suffered cardiac arrest while playing a match last
month, was yesterday discharged from the London Chest Hospital.
Muamba collapsed during the first half of Bolton's FA Cup quarter-final tie on March 17th and for 78 minutes,
the 24-year-old's heart stopped. Doctors managed to get his heart
pumping again. He was discharged yesterday following several weeks of
treatment.
