If you stay in Lagos for your own good, you better not spread your clothes outside your house or outside your compound because the Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment, Tunji Bello, on Wednesday said the state government would start to seize clothes spread on balcony railings along major highways, bridges, railings on landscape sites, walkways and other open public spaces in the state.

Bello said those who engaged in the uncivilised acts would not only forfeit the clothes to homes and orphanages; they would also be prosecuted according to the state sanitation laws.

The commissioner, who spoke while on an inspecting some areas in the state, said the government had been observing with concern that some public buildings, offices, bridges and residential buildings along major highways in the state, especially on Kingsway and Awolowo roads; First and Second Avenue, Ikoyi; Victoria Island; Apapa; Ikorodu Road and Ijora were engaging in the retrogressive culture.

He said, "Some of the private and government buildings on these routes had been turned into drycleaners lines for the spreading of washed clothes along many highways and inner streets.

"This act is also noticeable in areas where we have large concentration of mechanic workshops as well as along drainage alignments. Residents should spread their washed clothes within the confines of their environment."

Bello advised landlords who engaged security guards to educate them on the implications of the act, saying the government would not hesitate to apply the full sanctions of sanitation laws on any culprit.

SEGUN ARINZE's Secret lover cries out "He impregnated and abandoned me"

ENQUIRER Magazine:

The outgoing president of the Actors` Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Segun Arinze sure has a best kept secret he wouldn`t pray his wife knows about, and it is the story of his abandoned secret love child, a 10 years old daughter who`s a product of one night stand.

According to sources, this controversy has been on for so long a time between Segun and Amara, the mother of the innocent little girl, Mimi but because Segun is a celebrity, he`s been able to cow the quiet Igbo born lady whom he took advantage of during a movie set years back in a hotel in Enugu.

Though we learnt Segun has denied vehemently that he has never met Amara in his life, the saving grace is the fact that, some of the actor`s friends who were at the movie location could still vaguely remember Amara`s face and that's not only the case, we don't need a soothsayer to say the intelligent daughter is Segun`s. She`s his perfect replica, even in her school, everybody keep asking if she`s related to actor Segun Arinze. It was as if the incumbent AGN helmsman vomited her, please take your time to look at her once again.

Tracing the genesis of the one night stand story, Enquirer gathered reliably that, Segun had been invited to a movie location in Enugu where Amara Obiefuna lives with her parents. Like every normal human being, Segun we gathered had been so randy on this fateful day and had seen the young lady who was an undergraduate of the University of Calabar. And before you could say Jack Robinson, the actor had swept the young lady off her feet and the wrestling bout that ensued on that day is the product of the innocent little girl who has been denied fatherly love and care.

Although, this office is seeking to speak to Amara, the mother of the little girl, what we heard from family sources is that, all she wants is for Segun to stand up to his responsibility as she`s not begging for marriage, `whatever he thinks we need to do to confirm the paternity of the child, I am ready, the baby is his carbon copy, he`s a very mean person, he switched off the phone he gave me after our first meeting and I`ve also met him where we discussed the issue of the pregnancy, she was quoted to have analysed.

The governor said human development could not be achieved in this age without Information and Communication Technology.
According to him, the state government will spend N6bn to procure 100,000 units of computers.
The governor added that although the state had 95,000 students population in its secondary school, 100,000 were ordered because it anticipated that enrollment in public schools would soon increase.
Fayemi also distributed school bags to enable the students protect the laptops well.
He said the era of students using fertilizer bags to bring books to school had ended with the provision of the school bags.
He said, “Our government has gone this far to ensure that everything is done to make us stand shoulders higher than other states by recreating our feat in the areas of academic excellence that our land was in the time past identified with.
“This is why it has become very imperative for those involved in the teaching and learning process to be computer-literate in line with global standard of knowledge acquisition.”

Train crushes man to death in Ogun State

One other passenger broke his legs as he slipped while trying to jump aboard an overcrowded moving train
A passenger was killed and another broke his legs while rushing to board a moving train at Agbado Train Station in Agbado, Ogun State, on Monday.
The two separate accidents were linked with the Ijoko-Lagos Mass Transit Trains services of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC).
The mangled body of the dead victim was pulled out from the wheels of the and overcrowded train and placed beside the rail track, while the man with a broken leg was taken to a nearby hospital.
“The man that died rushed to board the train while in motion; he would have succeeded but was blocked by passengers hanging at the entrance,” said a witness who did not want his name published.
Regular train passengers blamed the accidents on overcrowding and the attitude of passengers who blocked the entrance of the coaches, preventing other passengers from boarding.
The accidents have been reported to the NRC headquarters at Ebute Meta.
The railway police command has recently warned passengers against hanging on moving trains, saying that offenders would be charged with attempted suicide.

Rihanna calls Chris Brown music reunion "innocent"

(Reuters) - Pop star Rihanna called her recent musical collaboration with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown "innocent," after critics and fans split on the duo working together three years after Brown assaulted the pop star.
"We did two records, one for my fans and one for his fans, and that way our fans can come together. There shouldn't be a divide, you know, it's music and it's innocent," Rihanna told Ryan Seacrest on his syndicated morning radio show on Thursday.
Rihanna provided vocals on a remix of Brown's new dance song "Turn Up The Music" while Brown lent his voice to Rihanna's sexually-charged "Birthday Cake." Both tracks were released last month after the Grammy awards on February 12.
"I reached out to him about doing "Birthday Cake" because that's the only person that really it made sense to do the record, just as a musician, despite everything else, that was going to be the person," Rihanna told Seacrest.
"I thought about rappers and I've done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown, so I wanted him on the track," she added.
Brown nearly derailed his career three years ago on the night before the Grammys, after he was arrested for beating up his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. Since that time he has tried to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of fans with mixed results.
The musical reunion of Rihanna and Brown had social networks abuzz as fans split on the pair working together with some making cynical comments, others calling it a publicity stunt and many embracing the new songs.
Brown has yet to comment openly on the collaboration.
