Happy Easter Celebration!

 

 Good morning everyone, welcome back from the short break. Hope you guys had a wonderful Easter celebration, the book of mathew chapter 28 vs 2 says and I quote "There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.  His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.  The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men"

If you read further there in vs 5, the angel said to the women(Mary Magdalene and the other Mary that came to look at the tomb), “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.  Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” 

Jesus Christ died and rose on the 3rd day, therefore our salvation is assured.  The big stone couldn't stop Him, even Pilates' guards couldn't stop Him, the grave itself was rendered powerless.

For an angel of the Lord came and rolled away the stone, to as many 'contrary' barriers limiting your progress, God will roll them away in Jesus name, and I pray that the death of Christ on the cross will not be in vain in our lives in Jesus name.  Shalom!
