Chinua Achebe’s Classic Novel, ‘Things Fall Apart’ Named One of the 50 Most Influential Books of the last 50 Years


"Things Fall Apart" A classic novel by Nigerian, Chinua Achebe as been named one of the 50 most influential books of the last 50 Years. The selection is made by a group called "SuperScholar.


"Things Fall Apart" was published in 1958 and translated to more than sixty languages as one of the 50 most influential books among books by other world acclaimed writers.

Other novels that made it to the list include Toni Morrison’s ‘Beloved’, Salman Rushdie’s ‘Satanic Verses’, Joseph Heller’s ‘Catch-22′, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’.
