Normalcy returns to Court of Appeal •Jonathan’s action, cries over undue dissipation of energy -GGG

Nolmacy has returned to the headquarters of the Court of Appeal, following the swearing-in of Justice Dalhatu Adamu as the acting president, as every staff had since been going about the normal duty.
Justice Adamu was sworn in on Monday andhad since taken over the leadership of the court from Justice Ayo Salami.
The National Judicial Council (NJC) had, on Thursday, recommended the suspension of Salami over misconduct.
Adamu officially assumed office as the acting president on Monday amisdt tight security, with less activities in the court.
When the Nigerian Tribune visited the court on Tuesday, the security. personnels at the entrance were no longer there and the other gate that was closed on Monday had been opened for motorists to pass through.
The security check at the entrance had reduced, as everyone was seen going about normal duties.
Though activities at thecourt section were yet to pick up, because the court was on vacation, the complex which hosts the office of the president, was a beehive, as workers and visitors were seen going in and out withoutany sign of abnormality.
However, the planned protest by some lawyers to kick against the decision of President Goodluck Jonathan in approving the suspension of Justice Salami could not hold as scheduled.
Some rights group had earlier staged a similar protest in both Lagos and Port-Hacourt, on Monday and had since planned to stage same in Abuja, on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, A socio-political organisation, the Good Governance Group (GGG), has described the hues and cries arising from the appointment of Justice Dalhatu Adamu as the acting president of the Court of Appeal, following the suspension of Justice Ayo Salami, as undue dissipation of energy in the wrong direction.
