Beyonce and her estranged father Mathew Knowles had an emotional reunion on Saturday in the delivery room as she gave birth to Blue Ivy.

The singer and Mathew who was formerly her manager, came face-to-face after nearly a year of not speaking. Bey is said to have ousted her father from her life since learning of his extra-marital affairs, and fathering a child outside of his marriage to Bey's mother Tina.
According to MediaTakeOut, Bey was also "disgraced" by her father as she believed he cheated her out of money when he was looking after her career. A source close to the family told the website: "[Jay Z] convinced her to invite her father to the hospital and she did. [Mathew] came into the delivery room while Bey was in labor and [Beyonce] broke down in tears . . . she cried openly. It was the first time she'd laid eyes on her father in almost a year."
The source adds that emotions were so high that even Jay became tearful.
Mathew and Tina's divorce officially came through in November after 30 years of marriage.
