Ondo State governorship election, Chief Olusola Oke, has vowed to halt
Governor Olusegun Mimiko’s second term bid.
The former PDP National Legal Adviser, who spoke with
journalists ahead of the beginning of his campaign, also debunked the
rumour that President Goodluck Jonathan is backing Mimiko for a return.
He said, “I am not scared of any incumbency factor;
is it incumbency that has disappointed the people? Is it incumbency that
has brought poverty, unemployment and failed to meet the aspirations of
Ondo people? Any incumbency that is founded on failure will not be
difficult for me to push out and dislodge politically; it has happened in
many states.
