The Nigerian Entertainment Awards nominee list is out! Revealed on Friday June 1 at a swanky black-tie affair held at Eko Hotel & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. The list has 26 different categories, cutting across music, cinema, and television.
Fresh-faced 22-year-old Wizkid has the most number of nominations, with a total of six – including album of the year and hottest single. He is followed by fellow musicians eLDee, Tiwa Savage, Bez, Davido who all got three nominations each.
Bez, the neo-soul/jazz singer who blasted his way into the local and international scene is up for best album for his ‘Super Sun’ offing, best new act, and best collabo with another nominee Praiz for the song ‘Stupid Song’.
The show will be held in New York City, September 02, 2012.
