Kogi guber: I ‘m not on revenge mission – Abubakar Audu

FORMER Governor of Kogi State and the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, governorship candidate for the December 3, 2011 election, Prince Abubakar Audu has debunked rumours flying round that his ambition to return to Lugard House is to avenge political enemies.
The ACN gubernatorial candidate insisted that ‘Kogi State is sick’ and his mission to govern the state again is to rescue it and it’s people from abject poverty created by the misrule of the outgoing PDP administration.
Prince Audu, who made this known while playing host to a delegation of residents of Ajaokuta community who paid him a solidarity visit, urged political supporters and admirers to discountenance the rumour, which he described as a figment of the imagination of mischief-makers.
He noted that the state is in a pitiable condition and that the PDP administration led by Governor Ibrahim Idris has failed to improve on the state and the lives of its people, appealing to the electorate to join hands with him in order to liberate the state.
His words: “the state has suffered enough in the last eight years. This is the time we should collectively rise up to the task and liberate the people. A victory for ACN is a total victory for the entire Kogi State. We want to come and correct the rubbish created by the PDP administration in the state, we are out to rescue Kogi state from the economic cankerworm and financial scavenger.
