The chairman of the Implementation Committee of the new camp, Dr Ibrahim Sule told newsmen in Minna after the state executive council meeting that the school was converted to a permanent orientation camp for the scheme because the NYSC officials preferred the school to the earlier arrangement at Government Girls Secondary School, Minna.
The Chairman who is also the commissioner of health said:“ the school will be relocated to another part of town but at the moment, they will continue to co-exist before the school is eventually relocated”.
According to him the work on the camp, especially the parameter fencing had reached 80 per cent completion stage in a bid to provide security for the corps members during the orientation camp expected to commence next week.
The commissioner said that water had been provided with the sinking of three boreholes and connection of the camp to the water board main water pipeline.
