President Jonathan Jets Out To Belgium For WCO Summit

President Goodluck Jonathan will on Wednesday (today) leave Abuja for Brussels after the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council on a one-day official visit to Belgium.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the President would deliver a keynote address at the Summit of the World Customs Organisation in Brussels on Thursday.
He will also meet with the Nigerian community in Belgium before returning to Abuja on Thursday evening.
Jonathan will be accompanied by his wife, Patience; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru; Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga; Senator Dahiru Kuta and Mr. Chinda Ogundu of the House of Representatives.
Meanwhile, the President has congratulated Dr. Mohamed Morsi on his emergence as Egypt’s President–elect following the country’s recent run-off presidential election.
