Super
Eagles midfielder Dickson Etuhu appears to be unsure about his
relationship with his English Premier League club Fulham. The Nigerian
had told MTNFootball.com on Saturday that he would quit Fulham at season’s end but he appeared shaken by his own statement and unsure about the move.
In one of the several messages on his Twitter account, Etuhu asked, “Why is everyone saying I am leaving the club?”
Etuhu may have finally realised a quit
would not come as a surprise to keen followers of event at the Premier
League side. The midfielder has fallen out of favour at the London club
and has admitted he does not enjoy a good working relationship with
manager Martin Jol.
He said in the earlier interview,
“Obviously, all is not well with me and the club manager and I think I
should be heading out of the club at the end of the season.”
Last season, the defensive midfielder
featured in a total of 31 matches in all competitions for Fulham with
only five substitute appearances.
