As the
January transfer window began to shut down on Tuesday, West Brom boss
Roy Hodgson ruled out the departure of Osaze Odemwingie, who was linked
with a move to Fulham. He described the link as “mischief-making.”
“I would not welcome any approach,” Hodgson said on Tuesday and posted on Twitter.
“He’s a valuable player,
one we want to keep. Our aim in this transfer window was to bring in a
player or two. There’s never been any suggestion of the club welcoming
the sale of any player like that. Quite frankly the story has no basis
or fact. I don’t know where it’s come from.
