WIZKID – NO 5MILLION NO SHOW

Wizkid

International singer Ayo “Wizkid” Balogun has finally opened up on the on the recently reported UNILAG fraud case.
He also talked about his relationship with EME and his new album, he also confirmed that he replaced his damaged car with a new one, he further more stated that him and his crew don’t collect cheap money..
INTERVIEW BELOW:
What really happened between you and the UNILAG students. You were accused of duping them?
By now, I think all is clear that there are some people parading themselves as either Wizkid or his managers. The unfortunate incident regarding the UNILAG students is a case of mistaken identity where people fell victim to some unscrupulous elements who impersonated me or my representatives. The same people, as we have come to know, went as far as creating fake accounts in my name to dupe people.
How did you come about the UNILAG palaver?
Basically, the police just called us to inform us of the development. We can’t really give full details because we were invited to come to the police station and we went as law abiding citizens. When we got there, we gave our own statement as well as the students. But we really can’t say anything now until the police have done their proper investigations. But with the details on ground, what we want you to know is that the so-called Wizkid the students have been contacting is fake and an impostor. It’s really not from me or from anybody around me.

It all started in 2007 while I was still in Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU). The English department used to have the Theatre Arts’ workshop then, and I happened to have friends there. During my leisure time, I used to join them for the workshops and that was where I developed the interest and I started acting along with them on stage. Then, I was also opportune to perform with the school’s Palm Wine Drinkards’ club. From there, the interest grew stronger and I had to move out to the real scene by joining the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, AGN.

”What is going on is more of a threat to national security than even the loss of revenue that everybody is shouting about,” Mr. Dickson said.

Rivers crisis: Why IG may not redeploy CP Mbu

Mbu-Amaechi rotimi
There are strong indications that the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Joseph Mbu, may not be removed by the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, in spite of his altercation with Governor Rotimi Amaechi.
Findings indicated that the CP, who has been engaged in a media war with the governor, still enjoys the confidence of the police authorities which believes that Mbu has not wronged Amaechi in any way.
A source told Saturday PUNCH that the force headquarters viewed the governor as the aggressor in the ongoing saga in the state.
“If Mbu had not acted professionally since this altercation between him and the governor started, he would have been removed and sanctioned accordingly, but the police high command believes the CP has done what is expected of him as a senior officer,” the source said.
Amaechi had repeatedly called for the removal of the CP and threatened to stop funding the Rivers Police Command if the IG did not heed his calls.

Paul Okoye accepts baby with 19 year old beauty queen, Elshama?

Paul Okoye has never reacted to the story in the press...to either confirm or deny that he is indeed the little boy's father. The boy was born April 7th in the UK, four days before Paul and his girlfriend Anita welcomed their son, Andre, in Atlanta.

Paul at the time told the Igbanoi family that he's going to do a DNA test to ascertain paternity. Maybe he's done it because he has officially acknowledged the boy as his. Continue to see what I mean...

Paul put up a photo of Elshama carrying their son on his BB display picture yesterday..with a kiss and big hug smiley.

Unplug Mandela’s life support – Doctors

Nelson Mandela

Doctors treating Nelson Mandela said he was in a “permanent vegetative state” and advised his family to turn off his life support machine, according to court documents dated June 26, obtained by AFP Thursday.“He is in a permanent vegetative state and is assisted in breathing by a life support machine,” said a legal filing related to a family dispute over reburying the remains of three of Mandela’s children.
“The Mandela family have been advised by the medical practitioners that his life support machine should be switched off.
“Rather than prolonging his suffering, the Mandela family is exploring this option as a very real probability.”

Wizkid Refuses Performing With Samini At Ghana Meets Naija Concert

Samini and Wizkid
The relationship between Wizkid and R2Bees is so solid that a lot of fans are wondering if it was the reason he refused performing with Samini at the third edition of Ghana Meets Naija, the group R2Bees who recently travelled to Los Angeles for the 2013 BET Awards and Samini are currently not seeing eye to eye, making the assumption between Wizkid and Samini sort of true.
Ghana Meets Naija that took place in Ghana on June 30 would have ended without drama if Wizkid had allowed Samini to partner him in their hit single, ‘Time Bomb’, a track on Samini’s upcoming album, the reason for the beef between R2Bees and Samini is yet to be ascertain and for Wizkid to get involved means it is a serious matter.
“Bola Ray even went back stage to talk to Wizkid and his manager about it but they refused to perform with Samini.” said a source. Bola Ray is the organizer of the show, he tried to convince Wizkid to perform with Samini but his advice fell on deaf ears.
What could have caused this cross country’s beef between Samini and Wizkid?

Rivers PDP says Amaechi is already with APC, apologises to Jonathan for governor’s actions

Rotimi goodluck
The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State has said it is in total support of the suspension of Governor Rotimi Amaechi, and accused him of already working with the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.
The party leaders, led by the state party chairman, Felix Obuah, had a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan and also apologised to the president for the governor’s actions, which they described as ‘shameful.’
The Obuah led leadership, opposed to Mr. Amaechi, is believed to be sponsored by the Minister of State for Education, Nyesom Wike, and the presidency. They were declared the authentic leadership after a court sacked the party leadership loyal to Mr. Amaechi.
Speaking to journalists after Thursday’s meeting, Mr. Obuah said, “W are pained and our heart bleeds today that the main champion of opposition in the country against Mr. President and indeed the Federal Government of Nigeria is our own son, Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi.”
“This is indeed shameful. We do not know what has come over the young man. Is it that he wants to destabilize the PDP before his eventual movement to his new party, having been handed over the ACN/APC structure in Rivers State?

However, in a recent interview he granted Encomium Magazine, Wizkid addressed the issue saying that he works hard and he can spend his money anyhow he wants it.
Here is what he told Encomium Magazine;
“I needed to get another one because, after the accident, I didn’t have a car and I have to move around. I started taking cabs before I decided to buy this new car to move around.
It is needed for work. And I don’t think there is anything wrong in splashing millions in car. If someone works hard and decides to spent money on something that he thinks is good for him, why not? In fact, I don’t think there is need to justify where it is wrong or not. I work hard and I will enjoy my money.”

NASS To Okonjo-Iweala: Stop Pitting Nigerians Against Us

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
Irked by a statement credited to the minister of finance and coordinating minister for the economy, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala — that the failure of the National Assembly to pass the amended 2003 budget will lead to a shutdown of government — members of the legislature have warned the minster to stop pitting President Goodluck Jonathan and Nigerians against them.
While the House of Representatives in its plenary session accused her of attempting to incite Nigerian workers against the legislature, spokesman of the Senate  Enyinnaya Abaribe, in a press briefing, accused her of attempting to pit the National Assembly against President Goodluck Jonathan, following the inability of the legislature to consider and possibly approve several 2013 budget amendments.
The Senate has accused Jonathan of reneging on an earlier agreement: that should he (Jonathan) sign the 2013 budget, the legislators would approve an immediate follow-up amendment he would send to them.
Senator Abaribe said that Jonathan forwarded “voluminous” amendments as opposed to specific alterations agreed under the deal, thereby making legislative consideration protracted.

Meagan Good Responds To Christian Backlash To Revealing BET Awards Dress

Meagan Good
Think Like A Man Too star Meagan Good had to deal with some intense  criticism after hitting the 2013 BET Awards red carpet in a bright blue gown with a plunging neckline and she has decided to set the record straight.
Good, who is married to Sony Pictures Executive and Seventh Day Adventist pastor Devon Franklin, presented the Best Gospel Artist award and the Mother Board commenting on social media instantly began harshly judging her attire.Read Good’s response below:
“@adriannacolbert That’s the thing Girl- is that I don’t feel convicted about this at all. my spirit is saddened that our people only know one way to think and process things..
I’m not any less holy because the dress I wore -I may not be who people think I should be -but I’m morphing into exactly who God wants me to be.. My excuse is never “I’m going to do me” and I don’t feel that I need to make an excuse or defend or what I wore .. I know I have a responsibility -and I’m working daily to fulfill the full potential of all God has created me to be..
A dialogue was started about my character, integrity, my walk with God and my Husband -simply based on a dress that I wore.., Of course I’m going to have a reaction to people saying negative things… It’s just sad.. Makes me sad not regretful.. My heart and spirit is always open to whatever my Father would want to share with me… And my spirit tells me to be exactly who I authentically am -because that’s what’s going to reach who I was authentically designed to touch.. people like me who are often misunderstood and told their cut of God’s promise -because they don’t look the role …when God doesn’t care about us “looking the role”..he is always cared about bringing us in -and us being whatever we need to be to bring Those left out in ..

Eucharia Anunobi explains why she's no longer on the social scene

"Eucharia, why have you not been seen much lately? On the pages of newspapers, magazines, events and so on?" The actress and evangelist asked herself on Facebook yesterday. Below is her answer...
I actually thought about the best way to handle the question, so as not to sound proud or immodest, and these were my honest answers.
Ma’am, thanks for looking out for me, but let me state categorically, that I Eucharia Anunobi, now Evangelist, have moved from the things don’t matter, to the thing that matters more, which is the work of my Father, who created me and made me an instant STAR, when I least expected it in my life.
I would never want to be remembered as someone who graced all the front pages of all the Newspapers and News Magazines in the world and did not contribute to the leading of people towards heaven.

Of a truth, you will agree with me that the job that will be rewarded by God Himself is that of SOUL-WINNING?

John and Love wedded in Jamaica on 15 June, 2013 and thousands of members of the church have reacted sharply while condemning the wedding gown worn by the wife and other aspects of the wedding that were at variance with the church’s standard.
She was decked in attires quite different from the acceptable standard set for Deeper Life members by the church.
Love was arrayed in flowing gown with a veil to match, while lots of people said her hair wasn’t natural and that she applied lipstick as part of the make-up.
Also at issue was the hiring of a Limousine which conveyed the couple to their destination after the wedding. And a huge cake was cut during the wedding contrary to the church’s tradition.kumuyi+suspends+son+and+wife+1 (2)_Naijapals[dot]com[1]
Due to the myriad of controversies generated by the wedding on social media, Facebook, especially by members of Deeper Life, the church decided to place the couple on suspension to give them time to pray and seek forgiveness from God for their action.

Nigeria is due for revolution – Tambuwal

Tambuwal
The Speaker, House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, has said a revolution is due in Nigeria because of endemic corruption in the country, coupled with the general disaffection of the people  with the ruling elite.
He said the kind of conditions that must subsist in order for any talk of revolution to be taken seriously were widely evident.
Tambuwal stated these in Lagos on Tuesday at the 2013 Distinguished Management Lecture of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). The occasion had the theme, ‘The role of the legislature on the economic, infrastructural and ethical revolution in Nigeria’, where he was invited as a guest speaker.
He said, “The most compelling reasons for revolution throughout the ages were injustice, crushing poverty, marginalisation, rampant corruption, lawlessness, joblessness, and general disaffection with the ruling elite. You will agree with me that these describe conditions in our nation now, to a very large degree.”
Tambuwal, who was represented by the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Legislative Budget and Research, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele, said over the years, successive governments made efforts to deal with this menace, but to no avail.
“That these conditions exist is well known to all persons in authority but the results of these successive efforts have failed to yield the desired results. This therefore is the justification for the radical change from the present approach to a revolutionary one,” he stressed.

Egypt’s army gives President Morsi 24 hours to resolve crisis or else…

Mohammed Morsi
Tensions are high in Egypt as an army ultimatum for President Mohammed Morsi to resolve deadly unrest approaches.
Clashes broke out at rival protests across the country overnight, with at least 16 pro-Morsi protesters killed at a demonstration at Cairo University.
The army has said it will shed its blood to defend Egypt against “any terrorist, radical or fool”.
Mr Morsi insists he is the legitimate leader and will not give in to “violence and thuggery” by resigning.
In a defiant televised speech on Tuesday evening, he too said he would give his life to defend constitutional legitimacy, and blamed the unrest on corruption and remnants of the ousted regime of Hosni Mubarak.
Calling for protesters to respect the rule of law, he urged the establishment of a committee of reconciliation as well as a charter of ethics for the media, and said he was prepared to meet all groups and individuals as part of a national dialogue process.
