The building, situated on Siluko Road, Benin City contains two blocks
of eight flats. The daughter of the PDP leader and former Commissioner
for Education in the state, Ms Uyi Ogbemudia, said the building had
valid approval from the state government, adding that “is why I am still
wondering why they destroyed it.She said: “The building belongs to my mother. They tried similar thing two years ago and after that, they came to apologise and now you can see what has happened. This is unfair and that is why I believe it was politically-motivated. When you measure the land, you will see that a grave mistake had been made.
