Kogi gov election: PDP NEC set for victory

THE National Executive Committee (NEC) of thePeoples Democratic Party (PDP) is working out a modality to see that it addresses whatever will affect the victory of the party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Abdullahi Bello, disclosed this while speaking with newsmen.
He noted that the PDP would be fair to all candidates in the forthcoming election in the state, ading that the PDP NEC in Abuja was working a way out, so that there would be a peaceful election, devoid of crises.
On the performance of the state assembly, he disclosed that to reducethe incident of contract inflation in the state, the assembly had adopted a monthly review of the expenditure of all tiers of government in the state.
He said the state Houseof Assembly would always conduct a public hearing, where the people would have inputs on any bill before it, before it was passed into law.
