Patience Jonathan's Abuja Rally Accident Victim Speaks Up

Mrs. Ifeanyi Chima was one of Lagos delegates that attended a rally organised for women by the First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, in Abuja on August 15, 2013.

The vehicle, which Chima and five other women were travelling in, had an accident along Abuja/Gwagwalada road when they were going back to Lagos the following day.
Their coordinator, Princess Abigael Adisa, died in the accident.
Chima and four others were lucky to survive the accident, but sustained various degrees of injuries. Until her death, Adisa was the Coordinator of the Women for Change and Development Initiative in Ifako/Ijaye Local Government Area of Lagos.

Chima, in an interview with PUNCH at the Intensive Care Unit of Primus Super Specialty Hospital (popularly known as Indian Hospital) in the Karu area of Abuja, on Tuesday, painted a sad picture of how she almost lost her limbs to the accident.

Another Pastor Accuses Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Of Adultery

Read this pastor's exposé on COZA's Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo:
For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
Isaiah 9:16.
They be leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
 Matt 15:14.

My sole purpose in writing this piece is to open the eyes of the world and believers to the hypocrisy and nonsense behind the pulpit, and to plea that these wolves and blind men stop deflating the faith of people who Christ died for. I am a Pastor, a full time minister at that, and I shall not sit back while the name of my God, the ministry, and the works of other shepherds is brought to disrepute by the activities, action and inaction of a few blind men behind the pulpit.I was going to be silent on this sad, pathetic but true (in many shades) allegation against Pastor B and his popular and trendy ministry. My silence was borne out of respect for the kingdom of God and things that pertain to God. But all this changed when I heard the horrific tales of people who had been through the mess of this blind man, and the fact that he had no moral motivation to deny or accept the allegation; all he showed on Sunday was a demented swagger and perverse talk.

How Naija Students Are Selling Their Sperm In Lagos

People get married for different reasons. While some seek companionship in marriage, many go into it for the purpose of procreation. For couples who look forward to having children immediately after marriage, being declared ‘infertile’ by experts is like a death sentence.

It is generally agreed that it takes two to have a baby and every couple is expected to be in optimum health to have babies, medical experts claim men are having more fertility challenge now.

Sperm concentration in men is said to have decreased by a third since 1990s while sperm count is said to have decreased by half over the past 50 years.

Studies are also showing genetic abnormalities in sperm particularly in older men. For men therefore, quantity, quality and motility of spermatozoa are seen as important factors in fertility.

In BBA House, the experience was awesome. Though it was challenging, God really saw me through. It is something everybody should look forward to participating in.

For me and Melvin, having made it to the finals, we are equally winners in our own rights. At least, we brought something home to show for our efforts.

Lawal, who   spoke during a chat with newsmen, also charged the Federal Government not to always cave in to pressure to sign an agreement if it knew the terms were stringent.
He recalled that similar incident had occurred in the past when government bowed to pressure and later backslid, stressing that dialogue remained the best way out of the present ASUU/FG impasse.
He said: “I think, in the first place, that the best way of resolving any crisis is through dialogue and it is on this note that I am appealing to ASUU to resume negotiation with the government.

Lagos ranked 4th worst city on earth

Eko o ni Baje Oooo. Lagos is ranked the 4th worst city on earth and the second-fastest growing city in Africa. This is courtesy of Economist Intelligence Unit, EIU
According to the list which has countries from Africa and Asia in the first three,Lagos shares its 137 position with Port Moresby, in Papua New Guinea
The report released yesterday reads....
“Rapid growth is not always a good thing because Lagos is now a magnet for two perpetual threats to peace: pirates and Islamist warriors.
Boko Haram have a problem with cities like Lagos and also lots of weaponry. Pirates threaten trade and use kidnapping as a method of funding. Islamist terrorist groups such as Boko Haram (“Education is forbidden”) want to create their own version of heaven on earth by destroying cities such as Lagos and imposing strict sharia law. Lagos has enormous potential but as yet little to show for it – hence its poor ranking,”

Mercy Johnson marks her 29th birthday today. The Nollywood actress and mother of one wrote a message  from her heart and shares it with her fans.
Today, I thought of many things I would love to have as birthday gifts and the many dreams I'm still pursuing.
In all of this I’m not losing sight of the fact that if not for God I might have ended

we would spare a thought for them. I am where I am today purely by the grace of God and the grace of the people who believed in me from the word go.

FRSC, VIO deny commercial drivers new number plates

FRSC men at work

There is palpable sense of anxiety among many vehicle owners in the Federal Capital Territory as the deadline set by the Federal Road Safety Corps for motorists to obtain the new number plate comes close.
The deadline is September 30, 2013.
Although the FRSC says it has set up plants in Gwagwalada, FCT and Awka in Anambra State to produce enough number plates, the corps  has not met the demands even as motorists complain about the non-availability of the product.
Commercial bus drivers are particularly apprehensive over the decision of the FRSC and the FCT Directorate of Road Transport,  otherwise known as Vehicle Inspection Officers, not to allow them to apply for the new number plates.
Though a sizable number of vehicles are already sporting the new plates, many others are still using the old ones in the city.

Yobo, Emenike out of Europa as CAS bans Fenerbahce

Emenike and Yobo

Nigerian duo of Joseph Yobo and Emmanuel Emenike are out of this season’s Europa Cup as their Turkish side Fenerbahce will be unable to compete in the Europa League this season. This comes after the Court of Arbitration for Sport upheld a UEFA-imposed two-year ban from European competition over a match-fixing scandal on Wednesday. Emenike just joined the team in the summer transfers.
With the International Olympic Committee vote on whether Istanbul, Madrid or Tokyo will host the 2020 Olympics due on Sept. 7, the timing of the announcement delivers another body blow to the tarnished image of Turkish sport.

I'm not taking any side, don’t mean no beef, no disrespect, and no hate but let the truth be told. I don’t believe because you feel you have a few change you didn’t have a few years ago and which you cannot guarantee having in a few years to come then you wake up and look at those people who have cheered you up, loved you, supported your music, bought your CD’s, prayed for you, just because you can lay your hands on some phone and you call them ‘poor’.
