Emergency rule has enhanced stability in Yobe – Speaker

The 23rd Brigade  of the Nigerian Army, Yola has announced the review of the curfew imposed on Adamawa state at the wake on the declaration of the state of Emergency.
A statement issued in Yola  and signed by the Brigade Commander, Brigadier  General Fatai Oladipo  Alli and made  available to Saturday Vanguard, indicated that the timing of the curfew will now be from 8pm to 5am daily with effect from Thursday, the 14th of June.
The earlier timing  of the curfew had been from 7pm to 6am daily.
In the statement, the Army extends its appreciation to the people for the level of co-operation received so far and advised all law abiding citizens to go about their lawful businesses within the  new stipulated timing of the curfew.
It equally solicited the co-operation and assistance of the people in reporting any suspicious movement or persons to the nearest security post.
At the commencement of the declaration of state of emergency last month, the curfew was imposed from 6pm to 6am daily.
