Ahead of the November 16 governorship election in Anambra State, the All Progressives Grand Alliance has pegged the sale of its Expression of Interest form at N2m for prospective aspirants.
The party has also fixed August 3 for the meeting of its National Executive Committee, which would approve the guidelines for the elections.
According to a statement on Wednesday in Abuja by the National Secretary of APGA, Alhaji Sani Shinkafi, the decision was in compliance with the timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

He directed prospective aspirants interested in collecting forms to pay a non-refundable fee of N2m in bank draft in favour of the party.
He said, “The sale of Expression of Interest form begins from July 29 and will end of August 2, 2013. Sale and return of nomination forms begin on August 6 and end on August 1, 2013. The screening of aspirants will hold between August 15 and 16, 2013.”
Meanwhile, people living with disability in Anambra State have said they will all play active roles in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Speaking to journalists in Awka on Wednesday, the National President of the Association for Comprehensive Empowerment of Nigerians with Disability, Mr. Cosmas Okoli, said members of his organisation would screen the governorship candidates with a view to ensuring that they had the interest of people living with disabilities in mind.
