UNILAG names Bello as Acting Vice-Chancellor

The University of Lagos has named the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services), Professor Rahman Ade-Bello, as the new Acting Vice-Chancellor of the institution.
This is coming after the sudden death of the former Vice-Chancellor (VC), Professor Tokunbo Sofoluwe, who died last Saturday after a cardiac arrest.
According to a statement from the governing council of the school, Professor Bello will serve in acting capacity until the governing council of the institution decides to appoint a substantive VC.
