Star singer Wizkid and rapper Naeto C
have been announced as ambassadors of Eko Football, a Lagos State
soccer festival which will be holding its first event in September 2012.
A few months ago, the Lagos State Football Association
(LSFA) announced that the first Soccerex event in West Africa, the
Soccerex Seminar Lagos would be hosted in Lagos; the Eko Football
Festival will also take place in Lagos; coinciding with Soccerex Seminar
Lagos this September.
Organizers say the Eko Football Festival
will be a first of its kind event in Nigeria, where football and the
entertainment industry will converge. The plan is to improve the level
of football tourism in Nigeria.
And in order to deliver a successful event, LSFA recently announced their partnership with media company Storm 360.
