Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is the first Nigerian actress/musician to reach one million ‘likes’ on social network Facebook.
The Nollywood actress turned 35 on
February 7, 2012. Interestingly, her surname is misspelt as Omotola
‘Jolade’ Ekeinde on the FB page, which appears to be an unofficial page.
According to Facebook administrators, name changing cannot be applied
to pages with over a hundred likes.

Omotola is however not the first
Nigerian to hit the 1m mark. Pastor E.A Adeboye, the general overseer of
