Former Super Eagles defender Efe Sodje thinks that Ivory Coast are the team to beat once again at the tournament.
Sodje was a part of the Eagles that failed to win the tournament in 2000 when Nigeria lost to Cameroon via penalty shootout.
“People are saying Ivory Coast will win
it, and I can’t argue with that. They’ve got the best players, and their
squad has been together for a long time, which helps them,” Sodje said
without hesitating. “Didier Drogba will be the top goal scorer. He’s
going to come out and show that he’s still got it, despite playing in
China.
