Fed lawmakers pledge support for Amaechi

The Rivers Caucus in the  House of Representatives, has pledged its support for Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, for putting smiles on the faces of Rivers people through his people-oriented projects and for successfully managing the affairs of the state in the past five years and four months.

Leader of the caucus, Mr Asita O. Asita, the lawmaker representing Ahoada-West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Federal Constituency of the state, spoke on behalf of others, yesterday, during a solidarity visit to the governor at Government House, Port Harcourt.

Other Rivers Caucus federal lawmakers in the delegation include Mr. Sokonte Davies, Mrs. Betty Apiafi, Chief Andrew Uchendu, Mr. Dakuku Peterside, Mr. Ogbonna Nwuke,  Pronem Morris, Blessing Nsiegbe, Mr. Ken Chikere, Gogo Bright, Dawari George and Barry Mpigi.
Expressing satisfaction with the level of projects implementation in the state, the caucus congratulated Governor Amaechi for his courage in giving the state a face-lift through speedy development.
Asita said: “We are here to express and declare our support and appreciation to you, on how you have successfully and wonderfully managed the affairs of the state. In the past five years and four months, we are satisfied with the level of implementation of projects and vision that you had shown. We are satisfied and thankful to God for giving you to our state at a time like this, and wish to congratulate you for the show of uncommon courage and statesmanship in the face of hostilities towards your person as governor.”
