We will make Nigeria great – Jonathan


THE Federal Government has pledged to make this country great by improving all sectors of the nation’s economy that have direct bearing on the lives of Nigerians.
President Goodluck Jonathan made the pledge while receiving Federal Capital Territory, FC,T residents led by the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, who paid him Christmas visit at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Sunday.
The President said Nigerians would, in no distant future, appreciate efforts of the Federal Government because of the positive impact the ongoing transformation agenda would have on them.
He appreciated the honour done to him and his family for the Christmas homage, especially for the wonderful presentation by the FCT Administration.
Those who joined Jonathan to receive the FCT Minister and his team were the First Lady, Dame Patience Goodluck Jonathan; Vice President Namadi Sambo and his wife; some members of the Federal Executive Council; former Ministers; Acting FCT Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed; the FCDA Executive Secretary, Engr. Adamu Ismaila; Senator representing FCT, Senator Philip Aduda; two members of the House of Representatives representing FCT as well as the Chairman of Kuje Area Council.
In his response, the FCT Minister, Senator Bala thanked God for the quality leadership he has been providing to the country.
He called on Nigerians to continue to support Presidential Jonathan’s transformational leadership.
