3SC unhappy with treatment in Ekiti

Shooting Stars of Ibadan have expressed their surprise at the way the management of Olukayode Akinyemi Stadium, Ado-Ekiti treated them over the use of the stadium ahead of the rescheduled Premier League match against Rising Stars on Thursday (today).
Club media officer Jubril Arowolo said they were locked out of the facility on Wednesday as they prepared to have a feel of the turf before today’s match.
“We were told that the man with the key to the stadium had gone home so we had to train at the Christ School Ado-Ekiti pitch. It is in the rule that a visiting team must be allowed to have a feel of the pitch before a match. But we were denied of the right. When Rising Stars came to Ibadan, they were treated like a king even though they shared the points with us.”
3SC Chairman Toyin Akintunde said there would be a formal complain at the pre-match meeting.
