Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have been
crowned the highest paid celebrity couple.
The
rapper and the singer moved into first place in the poll by Forbes magazine − up from second last year -
with combined earnings of $78million (£50million) between 1 May 2011 and 1 May 2012.
In
second place was supermodel Gisele
Bundchen and her husband, Tom Brady, who earned $72million (£46million)
between them in the last 12 months.
David
and Victoria Beckham came in third with $54million (£34.5million), while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came in at fourth with $45million
(£29million) to their names.
In
at fifth were Jada Pinkett Smith and
Will Smith, who earned $40 (£25.5million).
Notably
absent from the list were Robert
Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who were the fifth highest paid couple in the
world in 2011.
