Today is the birthday of veteran Nollywood actress,
Chinyere Wilfred.
She was born March 23, 1970. She is from Aguluezechukwu in Anambra
State. She attended Lagos State Polytechnic, where she studied Computer
Science. The first movie in which she appeared was
Taboo.
She then featured in
Circle of Doom. Since then she has gone on to feature in many more movies, including
A Mother’s Cry,
August Meeting,
Sacred Tradition,
Obligation, and
Playing Games. A gifted actress, she is well known for her powerful and moving portrayal of her characters.
