Eagles coach Stephen Keshi and his assistants, Daniel Amokachi,
Sylvanus Okpala, and Ike Shorounmu, are among the participants at the
onging CAF ‘B’ Licence programme organised by the Nigeria Football
Federation in Abuja.
The two-week programme, which is endorsed by the
Confederation of African Football, began on Sunday with over 80 Nigerian
coaches in attendance at the FIFA Technical Centre, and was declared
open on Tuesday by NFF President Aminu Maigari.
Other participants at the programme include former
Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen, Flying Eagles coach John Obuh, Golden
Eaglets coach Manu Garba, former Super Falcons coach Ntiero Effiom,
Alphonsus Dike, Dr. Salami Isiaka, Niyi Akande, Egan Adat, Charles
Bassey, Danladi Nasidi, Stanley Eguma, Okey Emordi, Godwin Uwua, Fatai
Amao, Ben Duamlong, Gift Okunwa, Nicholas Ukadike, Bethel Orji, David
Egbiri, Dan Evumena, Rolandson Odeh and Erasmus Onuh.
“I am happy about the calibre of persons here. You
can never get it better anywhere else in the country. This is the best
of Nigeria’s coaching personnel,” Maigari said on Tuesday.
Certificates were on Tuesday issued to those who passed the CAF ‘C’ Licence Course which was held six months ago.
