Due to the security challenges currently being witnessed in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, and the subsequent closure of the University of Maiduguri, which has ledto some difficulties in transportation, Kaduna State governor, Patrick Yakowa, has dispatched15 buses to Borno Statefor the immediate conveyance of all Kaduna State students back home.
A statement signed by the governor's spokesperson, Reuben Buhari, yesterday, read:"This is to cushion the transportation difficulties currently being experienced by some of the students".
It further read: "By this gesture, his Excellency is assuring all parents with wards studying in Maiduguri that they should not panic as the state government is adequately providing enough secured transportation back home for all their children."(234next)
